1. I have a problem with one of Infomedia Pro's CDs (for example with “PitiClic chooses a job”). When i start it, I can see Infomedia Pro's intro with the little balls, then the programme stops responding, and, in some cases, the computer is blocked. What can I do?

This behaviour has been identified to be associated with the presence of some antivirus programmes, which are not compatible with the copy protection system. This is trying to read from the CD-ROM a file which is protected against multiplication, which leads to the abnormal behavior of the computer. To solve this problem we advise you to contact the technical service of your antivirus programme provider. In case you can't manage it like this we suggest the following:

1. Get another antivirus programme to test the application and to see that it is functioning ( three of the antivirus programmes we have tested and which don't have this problem are: “ESSET Nod32 Antivirus”, “BitDefender” and “AVG Free edition”, the latter being available free on the internet).
2. Uninstall the current antivirus.
3. Restart the computer
4. Install the antivirus you choose by following the installation steps

Now the application should no longer encounter this problem. If it does, please don't hesitate to contact us.

2. I have a problem with the CD “PitiClic chooses a job”. When i start it, I can see Infomedia Pro's intro with the little balls and then I have only a black screen, I can hear the sounds but I can't do anything else. My computer works with Windows Vista. What can I do?

This problem is due to a rare conflict between the application and your computer's hardware. To solve this problem, we suggest the following:

1. Click right on your Desktop and select from the menu Personalise.
2. A new window is now on screen, where you click Display Settings
3. In the bottom right side there is the Color setting. Select from the list “Medium (16bit)”.
4. Clic on the “Apply” button.
5. Click on the “Yes” button from the little box.
6. Click on the “Ok” button to close the Display Settings window.
7. Close the window from number.
8. Launch the “PitiClic chooses a job” programme.
9. After you see the main window of the game, click right and select “Settings” from the menu.
10. Select from the box that you see now the first tab from the bottom left side and untick “Enable hardware acceleration”.
11. Click on the “Close” button.
12. Close the programme “PitiClic chooses a job” by using the Alt + F4 combination.
13. Undo the steps from 1 to 7 with a difference at number 3, where you will select “Highest (32bit)”.

The programme should now work properly. If it doesn't please don't hesitate to contact us.

3. I have problems with PitiClic - In the Country of BrumVajPic. I turned it on, it asked me to install QuickTime Alternative; I installed it, I restarted it and the same thing happened. It is still asking me to install this soft. What can I do?

The programme can run if you have installed QuickTime Player (only certain versions) or QuickTime Alternative. If, when running the programme, you are asked to install QuickTime Alternative, this means either that you have not installed QuickTime Player or that you have another version. Uninstall QuickTime Player. Reset the computer. Restart the programme and install QuickTime Alternative. Restart the DubluCLIC.exe programme. If the problem persists, uninstall QuickTime Alternative and install the QuickTime Player version that you may download here. Reset the computer and restart the programme. Enjoy using it!

4. How can I find the diacritic marks to fill in the spelling book?

You must have Romanian installed on your computer. To change lanuages, press alt and shift form the left. The keys corresponding to Romanian characters are the following: [= ă, ] = î, ; = ş, ‚ = ţ, \ = â.

5. I have trouble with the software "Let's learn to color". It was successfully installed but when I start the application there appears a message box saying that the drawing application is missing and then it disappears. What is going on?

In order to use the software with Windows XP, after installing it, you must follow the next steps:

1. Look for the file "mspaint.exe" in your computer (by default it is found in c:\windows\sistem32\mspaint.exe)
2. Make a copy of this file and the file "Copy of mspaint.exe" is obtained
3. The copy thus obtained is renamed "pbrush.exe"

6. What is the minimum resolution necessary for running the software?

The minimum resolution is 800x600.

7. I bought the CD "Multimedia Books" and I have trouble with the sound. I can't hear the task because of the background sound. What can be done about it?

The background sound volume is adjustable. In order to turn the volume down, press the blue button under the loudspeaker. Repeat until you obtain the desired volume level. In order to turn the volume up, press the red button.

8. How do I rotate the pieces of the puzzle from the fairy tale?

The pieces rotate by right-clicking on them.

9. I have installed the software. But when I tried to use it some other time, when I started the application from the Start Menu, an error message appeared. Why?

The software runs if the CD is in the unit. If you have several CD ROM drives, the CD must be introduced in the last letter unit.

10. I have trouble with fonts. Squares are displayed instead on figures. What can I do?

If texts are not correctly displayed, make sure that in the system "local settings" the English language is selected.

For Windows 98 go to START; CONTROL PANEL; REGIONAL SETTINGS then choose ENGLISH (UNITED STATES)
